California Man Indicted for Fraud and Id Theft Associated to a Drone Present – Drones Information

On September 2, 2020, a grand jury in the western district of Texas was charged with cable fraud and aggravated identity theft.

According to the indictment, Oneal, owner of Wildly Creative Marketing, agreed to host a drone show at SeaWorld, San Antonio, Texas.

He allegedly provided SeaWorld with forged and / or fraudulently used documents, including certificates of registration for the small unmanned aerial vehicle systems he intended to use, pictures of certificates from two pilots he allegedly employed, and the required waiver from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA ) to direct the show.

Upon receipt of the documents, SeaWorld sent Oneal two separate payments, which were deposited into a bank account he controlled, but he did not show up or perform the drone show. DOT-OIG is conducting this investigation with the US secret service.
