Cardno helps the event of unmanned aviation pilot coaching curriculum for U.S. Marine Corps air floor fight middle – Drones Information
Santa Barbara, CA (September 30, 2020) – Cardno, an international professional infrastructure and environmental services company, has built and refined an unmanned bio-aviation program for the U.S. Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) in Twentynine Palms. the world’s largest USMC training and testing program.
This included the development of the installation infrastructure, the safety management system and the operational regulatory framework to support the routine flight operations of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) in connection with and to support major training events. As part of the development / management contract for this program, Cardno created all the curricula for unmanned aviation pilots for MCAGCC. The full program complies with both the Federal Aviation Administration and Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).
The program is currently focused on application engineering, including skill gap identification, aerial surveying and mapping, and developing professional video message productions using aerial and ground footage from the project. An example is this video that was developed as an opening message for presentations by the Combat Center staff.
