Deep Drone Challenge – a drone hackathon with Airbus. Between September and November 2020, participants will tackle an interplay problem Drone technology, algorithms and artificial intelligence. Your target audience is our target audience as we are looking for different types of drone enthusiasts, from hobbyists to professionals.
About the Deep Drone Challenge
- The challenge will be carried out in two events (WarmUp and Final) near Ingolstadt
- You can choose between two possible tracks, both of which relate to private use
- Track A – drone Bot:: The drone communicates with air traffic control and people based on text / voice inputs and gestures
- Track B – Autonomous Situation Awareness: The drone autonomously locates and analyzes a certain situation and transmits various types of data (e.g. coordinates).
The goal in both tracks is exceed the limits of unmanned aviationand rewards the teams with the best autonomously flying drones 50,000 euross all in all.
