DroneShield – US Division of Protection Funding – Drones Information

DroneShield Ltd. (ASX: DRO) (“DroneShield” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has received funding from the Department of Defense (“DoD”) for the targeted development of its DroneShieldComplete ™ Command-and-Control (“C2”) Has. ) System.

The DoD division that placed the order is a new customer for DroneShied. The financing took place within the framework of an exclusive contract.

DroneShieldCompleteTM is an intuitive and feature-rich C2 that provides real-time warning, tracking and reporting information for native DroneShield and third-party sensors. The DoD is working with DroneShield to fund an agreed list of feature improvements for a project that is expected to span several months. Importantly, after this period, the DoD is likely to make multiple purchases of C-UAS devices from DroneShield that will run on the advanced DroneShieldCompleteTM C2.

Oleg Vornik, CEO of DroneShield commented, “We are proud to be working with the US Department of Defense, one of the world’s most demanding defense customers, on this project to ensure that our DroneShieldCompleteTM C2 stays up to date with customer requirements. This contract is an important milestone in consolidating our close collaboration with the world’s largest defense customer. In addition to the expected purchases related to this paid development contract, further orders are expected for other DroneShield solutions in order to establish a trustworthy supplier relationship with this customer. ”

While the Company is unable to accurately quantify the follow-up orders, it expects the orders to be material and will provide an update of dollar amounts to the market in due course, if available.
