Flock appointed as BIBA drone scheme supplier – Drones Information

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has launched a new member drone program with specialist broker Flock that provides easily accessible and flexible coverage for commercial drones such as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL). Plane.

The new system will be signed by leading aviation insurers with A + capacity and global coverage so that BIBA members can easily access coverage for small businesses, global operators and large fleets.

Goldman Sachs estimates the commercial drone industry is now worth around Β£ 78 billion[1] and Flock has quickly established itself as a leading insurance specialist in this area. It has made over a million offers and now insures some of the world’s largest fleets, including Skyports, Terra Drone and Sky Futures.

Cover includes hull, equipment and cargo up to Β£ 1.5m, up to Β£ 50m for public liability and beyond line of sight (BVLOS). Flock also has the option to create custom insurance policies for specific use cases including drone deliveries, drone swarm shows, and offshore operations.
