GA-ASI Integrates SAGE 750 ESM onto SeaGuardian – Drones Information


General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) has integrated the ESM (Leonardo SAGE 750 Electronic Support Measure) system into the MG-9B SeaGuardian® (RPAS) remote-controlled aircraft system. The SAGE 750 integration was carried out by GA-ASI in collaboration with Leonardo.

The SAGE 750 installed on SeaGuardian provides intelligence information on maritime and terrestrial radar transmitters over a wide range.

“This is the first time our aircraft has fully integrated tactical ESM functionality,” said Linden Blue, CEO of GA-ASI. “SAGE ESM will improve our clients’ ability to make tactical decisions and enable the collection of ISR data for selected issuers.” The system helps SeaGuardian operators locate and track surface radars.
