The Air League will host the fifth episode of Executives, Pioneers and Professionals on August 11, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. via Facebook Live.

This episode introduces Sion Roberts and Kevin Taylor, who give us an overview of the use of drones in various industries, especially in police work, where special drone units are now the order of the day to support crime prevention and detection.

About Sion

Sion Roberts is the CEO of EEI & RUSTA, which was founded in 2014. This was after 22 years in the Royal Air Force. Sion began his aviation career as a weapons system operator on the venerable Nimrod MR2 Maritime Patrol Aircraft before moving to the US to operate the MQ9 Reaper as an operator and later with the USAF as an instructor.

Sion started flying SUAS in 2013 and founded EEI / RUSTA in 2014. Since then, RUSTA has trained over 2500 operators worldwide to operate SUAS successfully in emergency services and commercial functions.

About Kevin

Kevin joined RUSTA in November 2018. Kevin has a background in law enforcement and aviation, and brings extensive experience and flight skills to the team. Kevin is a Senior Instructor at RUSTA. Kevin is very familiar with all aspects of SUAS and not only leads the Senior Instructor at RUSTA, but also leads the Lincolnshire Police Drone Team that SUAS has been operating since 2017.
